If, you’re a hipster, you no doubt use Opera as your preferred internet browsing software, due to its retro and ironic charm, while your parents till wonder why their version of Internet Explorer that has a bajillion toolbars on it loads so slowly.
For the rest of us, Google Chrome is our browser of choice. Its sleek and sexy in a minimalist way, and it hardly ever crashes. A new version of the beloved browser is out now, and this is what you can expect to get out of it.
Pre-rendered pages will now look more natural and auto-completed, with the typing in of a URL actually pre-loading the page for the user, making the experience faster, before you even confirm it, or as Google explains;
When you start typing in the omnibox and the URL autocompletes to a site you’re very likely to visit, Chrome will prerender the page, so it will appear faster—sometimes, even instantly—as soon as you hit Enter.
More security will also be in place, protecting users from malware and viruses, with executable files being checked on a list of known and updated malicious software.
Sounds like a great update so far, although I’d like to see how awkward a situation is when a guest types in a link that automatically pre-loads a porn site.
