Ah, the humble shower. It’s been around for a while, and it may be something that engineers are only fiddling around with now, making it sleeker and more carbon-fibrey, but other than that, not much has been done to really alter the basics of its design.
One idea though, has flipped the shower onto its head. And future bathers onto their sides.
The new shower unit that Dornbracht is offering takes the regular cleaning space, and makes it horizontally wider, which is great for those of us who want to lie down and have a realxing pelting of lukewarm water on our bodies.
Showcased at a trade show in Basel, Switzerland, the shower resembles a bed that has been attached to a wall, but with several shower-heads above it that are controlled by the Ambiance Tuning Technique System.
It may cost enough cash to buy a car, but the idea of taking a shower bath that doesn’t involve a person wallowing in their own dirt-water is just too good to pass up if you have the cash.
